Welcome to new Taiwanese Group for visit 2010!

Please pray as we receive our incoming guests from Taiwan this week for our Synod partnership in mission.We are delighted to be welcoming our Global Partners for a visit into our Synod Nov.9-18th which will include:
  • Luther King House
  • Rainbow Haven project with people seeking asylum, Manchester
  • Chorlton Church meal with members & Moderator
  • Conversation with Inner Manchester Mission Network on worship
  • Visit to Taiwanese Chaplaincy Ministry and the ecumencial work of St. Peters Chaplaincy, Manchester
  • Eucharist with university students and chaplains
  • Visit to St. Andrew & St. George, Bolton, Outreach Group & Justicia Fairtrade Shop
  • Conversation about Retail Chaplaincy with Wendy White, Bolton
  • Visit to Levenshulme Inspire, Manchester
  • Hospitality at The Windermere Centre for 5 nights
  • Meeting with Director of Windermere Centre, Lawrence Moore, on national evangelism campaign in URC 2011
  • Visits to 4 Cumbrian churches with Revd Rachel Poolman
  • Social evening at Carver URC, Windermere open to all Fri 12th Nov 7pm. Bring & share meal & informal gathering
  • Attend Synod at Penrith & make a presentation on Evangelism in PCT
  • Share in worship with 4 churches in Cumbria & day with congregations sightseeing
  • Global Partners review meeting with Revd Kate Gray
  • Sightseeing & shopping
  • Meeting with General Assembly Co-Moderator Revd Dr Kirsty Thorpe
  • Meeting in London with Chaplain to university students & sightseeing
