CWM A New FACE Programme – hosted in Guyana for the first time. September and October 2009
The aim of A New Face (A New Faith And Culture Exposure) programme will introduce clergy to a ministry context different to their own to stimulate theological reflection and to gain a cross-cultural perspective.
What’s involved? Ten people share one week of orientation, then four weeks of placements, finally one week of evaluation and report-writing. Orientation includes: Guyanese culture, history, mission influence, specific contextual theological themes and placement information. Placements will be in congregations throughout the country.
Costs involved? CWM will arrange and pay for the participant’s international travel, accommodation and food in Guyana. Participants are to provide their own spending money and arrange their own passports, visas and necessary inoculations.
